On March 5th 2017, The brothers of Lambda Phi epsilon came in the early morning to volunteer at the annual Hot Chocolate 5k/15k. The Hot Chocolate run started in 2008 in Chicago Illinois and has since spread through the country. Starting shifts at 6:00 A.M, the brothers were dressed for the cold and rain and started by helping other volunteers check in. After all of the volunteers were checked in they moved to work at the coat/bag check in where they worked the rest of their shifts.

Here are what some of our volunteers had to say about the event:
“I thought it was pretty chill” – Kent
“Chilly, fun, but disappointed about not getting hot chocolate” – Robert
“Glad we were all able to bond with the new class and help our local community reach their goals too” -Rey
“It was a great bonding experience I liked the free sweaters too lol” -Randy R
